About Us

The Louisiana Automatic Fire Alarm Association was formed on March 30, 1993 with its first meeting being held in Baton Rouge, LA.  The purpose was to unite the fire protection contractors of Louisiana into “one voice”.

Encouraging awareness of fire safety issues, Louisiana Automatic Fire Alarm Association is a non-profit organization. We are focused on raising awareness of the effectiveness of fire alarm use as well as educating on fire safety issues. We accomplish this by partnering with individuals and organizations throughout local communities, in order to provide greater availability of necessary tools and information. Located at 7515 Jefferson Hwy #16 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70806, we have operated since 1993 as a source of reliable information and resources regarding fire safety. We teach the community about fire alarms and how to prevent incidents of fire. We define new opportunities for outreach by partnering with community members to understand how best to spread awareness and education around fire issues. We believe fire prevention is key to ensuring a safer future for kids and adults of all ages.
